The Story

We are delighted to present the Ebony Cardigan designed Yun Jeong, with Le Petit Lambswool et Le Petit Silk & Mohair 🐚

'I am a knitwear designer based in the Toronto area, Canada. I love creating natural and comfortable designs, bringing a little fun into the knitting process. My patterns are deliberately simple from a technical standpoint, which allows me to create practical and beautiful pieces to be worn every day. My goal was to design an Ebony cardigan that would be as soft as a watercolor painting, versatile enough to complement any outfit, and effortlessly elegant even when worn casually. I wanted it to be a simple yet captivating project for knitters.

The satisfaction of blending two different shades to create a final product was immense. Just like natural dyes, Le Petit Lambswool reveals slightly different nuances depending on the light. The soft, fluffy mohair not only adds enjoyment to the knitting process, but also enriches the design. I worked with creative and joyful test knitters, and their yarn choices are truly inspiring. Your choice of mohair color can either subtly enhance the look, or transform the cardigan into something entirely different. I hope you enjoy the hidden details in this simple design and the process of creating colors reminiscent of watercolor paintings.'
